Project description 

The Step In project is generated as multipling efect of the former projects Social Dialobuie by EVS Volunteers and The Butterflies Factory, that one by one develop two steps of community cooperation by EVS instruments. First one bring the new concept of EVS Program and get use to the EVS volunteering in the own activity, the seccond start the network concept of local cooperation in volunteering field and now the third project we come with is proposing new step foreward by establishing local networking in social activities for better awareness and lobby for independent nonprofit social servicieas the local project partners provide. Year by year the EVS volunteers try to bring the spirit of cooperation among different social servicies from local community, to be more open for commune initiatives and now is time for establishing commune networking platform and develop comune awareness special events that will help the social servicies to promote there activities and educate the local community in the spirith of social welfare and volunteering. The main activities of the project propose local awarenees and lobby for local independent nonprofit servicies by incliding volunteering work for EVS volunteers and local volunteers in several local social servicies in the network developed for children, youth, adults, eldery people with disability or without disability. The 10 month project starting in September 2009 and the majour outcome of the project will be the local awareness campaign of social servicies ans aditional resutls, evem priority one, will be the self development of the EVS volunteers.

The theme:
The "Step In" project theme is local awareness for local social services in order to underline the aspect of local participation and support of the community for social services and to underline the importance of networking in social services, all together by involving the creativity and innovation of the EVS volunteers that will reach also there personal development.

The detailed theme activities:
1. Supporting the local beneficiary of social services project network, children, youth and adults, with disability or without disability, with activity in hospital, day centres and clubs, other social facilities for this social activity, with indoor and outdoor activities.
2. Supporting the local social services networking by promoting campaign with awareness activity session for public and also beneficiary.
3. Self development and team building sessions of the team work, volunteers and project social services network members.

All this aspects of the project theme will be implemented by local networking of project EI numbers:
2007-RO-40, 2007-RO-15, 2007-RO-14.
