SELECTION CRITERIA AND HOSTING RULES 

Profile of the volunteer canditate:
We follow the Youth in Action Prgram rules and accept all kind of participans as following: such is:
o young people between 18 and 30 years old
o young people citizen of Program contries
To apply for this project we are asking volunteer's CV and there motivation letter

Volunteers selection criteria:
Our organization develop the selection criteria, after two projects of experiance and we are now more focused on the volunteers profile, regarding there expectations and motivations for the project. Therefore, after formal selection that regard the CV that show the metching with formal criteria of the program, sch as age and citizenschip, we are focused on mottivation letter that should give at list one strong argument about project motivation, related with social activities or/and selfe developement of the volunteer. We also are interested for young volunteer able to communicate at minimum level of english and are interested to learn Romanian language.
Another important factor would be the personal initiative and interest for own initiatives involvement that we'll be need during the project.
In the selection process is involved also the sending organization, especially traditional partners that know our work and expectations and can give support for better potential volunteers selection.

Volunteers' profile and interests matched with the activity:
We expect form potential candidates to have motivation for volunteering, interest for social and cultural activities, open mind and flexibble to work with disabled children, youth, adults and eldery people, creative inough to have personal initiatives in the project and involving the others as team member in there work. After all, the self developement spririth that will bring new esperiances, achevements by learning new things and bring new skills is absolutelly need in order to increase personal communication, flexibility and autonomy.

If specific skills are required:
We don't expect speccific skills, but communication, open mind would be the first personal qualities that is need to open the way of potential skills the volunteers have. Complementary, we don't expect other skills but we would be happy if the volunteers are interested in: social work, ocupational therapy, media and communication, public relation, awareness, project writing, instrument playing, any other skills.

The aim and the theme of the Activity:
Local social services promoting and networking establishing in social field by EVS volunteers cooperation with nonformal tools and volunteering aproach that include direct work with social and socio-medical servicies beneficiarry: children, youth, adults, with dizability or witout diyability in several social facilities; local networking establishing preparation; prepare and implement local awareness campaine, with all materials need for.

The different phases of the activities:
1. preparation of the activity include the following procedures:
- Administrative and pedagogical preparation that will include the volunteers arrival administrative preparation for accomodation, food, get use with environment, finding the local utilities, information sessions about local transport, local culture and services, getting know wichother and other volunteers, menthor presentation, team building sessins, project volunteers group contract presentation and updating, project presentation and working places, language trainig.
- On Arrivla training participation that will be prepared together with coordinative organization for the administrative aspects of.
- Weekly working plan meetings that will prepare all the activity sessions for each volunteer by detailing the working place and timetable, individual sessions and group sesions, will present the working rules.
2. implementation: The volunteers will participate to several working places in the networking activity and will cover the following sessions:
- Working with children, youth and adults, with dizability or without dizability in several working places of the local social facilities by using nonformal tools
- Preparing the awareness campaing for the sociale servicies network they working for by teamwork indor and outdoor sessions
- Implementing the awareness campaing for the social services networking the volunteers work for by teamwork indoor and outdoor sessions
- Each volunteer will develop own web page in the project web page that will include personal oponions about hes experience, activity involved in.
3. evaluation: The project will develop several evaluation sessions, fist will be the weekly meeting that will evaliate the detailed program and improve the activities plan. Seccond evaluation will be the mid term evaluation that will propose also team building session and will include the volunteers, coordinator and menthors. The final evaluation will include an evaluation session, evaluation form to be filled, personal web page last materials update describing the volunteers experience.

The role and tasks of the volunteers:
1. The volunteer will help the activity and sesion coordinators to lead the session, improve the result quality by asisting with nonformal tools and help that will consist in direct work with social services beneficiary, prepare the sessions and implementing the sessions;
2. To participate to all pedagogical activities like project presentation, cultural sessions, language training in order to inprove the cooperation with hosting organization and the beneficiarry;
3. To be motivated and actively by proposing new ideas, being creative and inovative for all sessions the volunteer participating to;
4. To be al volunteering activist for local volunteering ald EVS volunteering;
5. To initiatet original web page in the project web page for own presentation and project participation;
6. To follow the group contract initiated by EVS volunteers and agreed to the preparation sessions.

Practical aranjaments:
1. Hours for work: each volunteer will work up to 5 days a week, 35 working hours a week.
2. day off: 2 day off/week for each volunteer
3. holiday: each volunteer benefit for 12 days as holiday for 6 month of project
4. accomodation: each volunteer benefit for duble room (separate beds) in shared apparment, with social space for all volunteers, cable tv, internet access, telephone, hot water in the bathroom, washing machine to share with the other volunteers in the appartment. The appartment is close to the food store and local transport station, down town, other volunteers appartments and need to keep comune block building rules that consist in silence and keep clean. (see pictures of accomodation)
5. food and alawance: each volunteer receive 100 euro/month for food and 60 euro/month as alawance. The volunteers can cook own food in the acomodation facility, that have all tools need for (kitchen with gas kooking machine, gas oven, microwave, coffe machine, toster, refrigerator, dishes and all accessories need in the kitchen), and have asistancy for all administrative need for.
6. local transport: each volunteer receive transport monthlly ticket.

How the Activity is complying with the qualitative criteria of the EVS charter:
• The profesional will asist the volunteers always
• The job gaved to the volunteers will not substitute other profesional job
• Alwais the job and duties will be adapted to the volunteers level and skills
• The inovation, creativity and active role of volunteer in the project is priority
• Community integration is part of the project
• The volunteers will be supported for there self developement

How the volunteer(s) will be actively involved in the Activity:
• Each volunteer will design all program of the activity according to own expectation, skills, interest and motivation, that is offering quit a large flexibility and opportunity for the project to find the expectation, actuially to build own expectation
• For the speccific inovation ideas the project team offer a large range of opportunities in the project network we'll try to build and we'll assist each volunteer in order to give the tools they need and know how that will help also for there skills improving
• The direct contact with the activity beneficiatry offer a clear involvement of the volunteers in the activities because the main sessions are based on activities with children, youth and adults.

How the Service(s) will contribute to the social and personal development of the volunteer(s), and what are the expected learning outcomes:
• Social integration of the volunteers and activity based on direct contact with local people bring the most self development results by direct contact with people, local culture and self confidance came by usefull filing, speccific for social servicies activities;
• The involvement in speccific team work and personal contribution for "own project", consist in individual or group work for speccific section of the project bring more skills and self confidance;
• The outcome of the projects for volunteers learning objective is:
o Receiving experience and skills in social servicies activities by nonformal methods
o Learning to write projects
o Lern how to plan and implement a project
o Increasing the skills on web page building, by own page administration
o New knowleges on Romanian language
