01 MAY 2009 ProAtlântico is going to apply on 1st June 2009 deadline for the following hosting projects:
- 2008-PT-49 - Casa Pia Centro de Educação e Desenvolvimento Francisco Margiochi: in a pedagogical farm with environment workshops for children.
- 2008-PT-50 - Casa Pia Centro de Educação e Desenvolvimento Nossa Senhora da Conceição: in a school with children (5 to 7 years old) in the 1st grade of primary education.
- 2008-PT-52 - Casa Pia Centro de Educação e Desenvolvimento Santa Clara: in a foster home for children and young people coming from broken families (8 to 16 years old).
Each project is available for 2 volunteers and will run from October 2009 to June or September 2010 (9 or 12 months).

2007-PT-6 - Associação de Moradores do Bairro 25 de Abril (seniors daily center)
2007-PT-13 - ProAtlântico - Associação Juvenil (youth centre with children + media and design activities)
2007-PT-14 - Centro de Alojamento Temporário de Tercena (Children's foster home)
2007-PT-15 - Casa da Ameixoeira (Young boys foster home)
2007-PT-16 - Casa do Parque (Children's foster home)
2007-PT-17 - Casa da Encosta (Children's foster home)

12 JANUARY 2009 We are looking for 2 happy and motivated volunteers for the project: 2006-PT-2. It could be possible that the project will deleted very soon from the data base of the European Commission, as the renewing of accreditation isn't yet in there. But there will be no problems for the project itself, as the renewing is aready approved. If deleted, pls have a look in this website: search for "portugal" and "Lousã meets Europe".
We are looking for 1 volunteer available from:
22nd of June until 21st of December 2009
And 1 volunteer available from:
15th of September 2009 until 14th of March 2010.
The volunteer for the first vacancy should be motivated as well to help in a Youth Exchange (that is planned in August 2009). Although we appriciete some experience in YE, we don't consider it as an obligation when there is a strong motivation.
When you have a volunteer that is interested in our project, we are waiting for there Motivation Letter and CV. Please mention as well to what date the volunteer apply and the contact person of the sending organisation.

We are looking for 2 volunteers (only boys) older than 23 years old with driving license, preferably with knowle dge of English/French language with interest in sports field . If the candidates have some previous experience with young people with difficult social background can also be good.

22 OCTOBER 2008 We are preparing a project for the next year to host new evs short term volunteers, for the dealine of the 1st November. I want to know if your organisation is interested to send us two short term volunteers during next year. We are planning to host in March, April, July, August and October (3 weeks) in Peniche, Portugal, on the Atlantic cost, for intercultural, education and youth activities.
